2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Android application UniCalc – Universal Calculator, package name com.multies.unicalc, and to its related support and privacy pages. UniCalc is a calculator and unit-conversion application supported by advertising.

This policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, advertisements, or services that have their own privacy policies.

3. Information you provide

UniCalc does not ask you to create an account or directly submit profile information. If you contact MULTIES, we may receive your email address, message, and any information you voluntarily include. This information is used to respond, provide support, protect the app, and maintain appropriate records of the communication.

4. Information stored locally on your device

UniCalc may store the information needed to provide and remember your app experience locally on your device using Android storage technologies such as Room and DataStore. This may include:

• calculator and conversion history;
• favorites, saved items, and recently used tools;
• language, theme, units, formatting, and other app preferences;
• technical state needed to provide app functions and manage advertising frequency.

MULTIES does not operate a user-account or cloud-profile system for UniCalc and does not upload this local calculator data to a MULTIES account or cloud service. Depending on your device and Android backup settings, the operating system or your device provider may back up and restore some app data under its own terms.

5. Advertising and third-party processing

UniCalc uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner, native, interstitial, and app-open advertisements. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, Google’s configuration, and the advertisement served, Google and its advertising partners may process:

MULTIES does not receive your name, email address, or a UniCalc user account from AdMob merely because an advertisement is displayed.

6. Consent and privacy choices

Where required, UniCalc uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request, record, and communicate privacy choices for advertising. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be offered options concerning personalized advertising, non-personalized advertising, limited ads, or other data processing.

When required and made available by UMP, a privacy-options entry point is provided in the app so that you can review or change your choices. Changing a choice does not necessarily stop all advertising or processing needed for security, fraud prevention, technical delivery, or legal compliance. You can also manage or delete your Android advertising ID through your device’s privacy settings.

7. Purposes and legal bases

You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing where consent is the applicable legal basis.

8. Sharing

Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate the app, particularly Google in connection with advertising and consent management. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business reorganization. MULTIES does not sell personal information for money.

9. International transfers

Google and other applicable providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, transfers are supported by legally recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections. Review the applicable provider’s privacy terms for information about its processing and transfer practices.

10. Retention and deletion

• Local app data: remains on your device until you delete it using available in-app controls, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app.
• Advertising and consent data: is retained by Google or other applicable providers according to their policies, legal obligations, consent signals, and service configurations.
• Support correspondence: is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep appropriate records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

UniCalc does not currently provide user accounts. Therefore, there is no remote UniCalc account to delete. Clearing storage or uninstalling the app may permanently delete locally stored calculations, history, favorites, and preferences.

11. Security

MULTIES applies reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the app and the information involved. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS according to Google’s SDK disclosure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal data processed by MULTIES, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Because calculator information is stored locally and is not linked to an account held by MULTIES, MULTIES may not possess or be able to identify that information. You can control it directly on your device. For requests concerning information you sent to MULTIES, contact admin@multies.net. For information controlled directly by Google or another provider, use that provider’s privacy controls.

13. Children’s privacy

UniCalc is a general-audience utility application and is not specifically directed to children. MULTIES does not knowingly request children to create accounts or submit names, contact details, or profile information through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to MULTIES, contact admin@multies.net so the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

14. Third-party links

The app or advertisements may link to third-party content. MULTIES is not responsible for third-party privacy practices, content, or security. Review the relevant third party’s policies before providing information.

15. Changes to this policy
