These services are operated under the MULTIES brand from Kassel, Hesse, Germany. For questions about these Terms, write to apps@multies.net or use our contact page.

2. Scope and acceptance

These Terms apply to the MULTIES apps and related websites that link to them. App-specific notices, Google Play terms, and any conditions shown before an optional purchase may also apply. By downloading, accessing, or using a covered service, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, do not use that service.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally able to use the service. GridLume Sudoku is listed on Google Play for users aged 18 and over and is not intended for children. For any other MULTIES service, if you are below the age at which you can agree to these Terms, a parent or legal guardian should review them and provide any consent required by applicable law.

4. License and fair use

Subject to these Terms and mandatory law, MULTIES grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the apps on compatible devices for lawful purposes. You must not distribute the apps or their content commercially without permission, misuse or disrupt a service, introduce malware, access systems without authorization, or bypass security measures. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only where permitted by applicable law; your statutory rights are unaffected.

5. GridLume Sudoku gameplay

GridLume Sudoku offers 4×4, 6×6, and 9×9 puzzles and optional activities such as Logic Journey, Daily Challenge, and Academy. Difficulty labels, hints, achievements, scores, and generated puzzles are part of the game experience; a particular puzzle, reward, or completion time is not guaranteed. Some features may require a compatible device or connection, and available features may change with app updates.

6. Points, rewards, and ad-free periods

GridLume may award Lume Points, Ad Points, badges, hints, progress, or temporary ad-free periods under the rules displayed in the app. These are in-app benefits, not money, stored value, cryptocurrency, or property that can be redeemed for cash, sold, or transferred to another account. Completing a puzzle, watching an optional rewarded ad, or redeeming points earns a benefit only when the app confirms completion under its applicable in-app rules. Advertisements or rewards may be unavailable because of network, consent, provider inventory, or technical conditions.

Progress, points, rewards, and earned ad-free status are generally stored locally. MULTIES does not offer a GridLume account or guaranteed cloud recovery. Clearing storage, uninstalling, changing devices, or restoring a device may remove or fail to restore these local benefits. If an ad-free entitlement is active, automatic ads are disabled for its applicable period; optional rewarded ads may remain available. We may adjust future earning or redemption rules, but will not intentionally shorten an already-earned active period solely because the rules change. Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Advertising and privacy choices

Free apps may show ads through Google AdMob. GridLume Sudoku may show automatic interstitial ads at natural breaks, subject to its in-app limits; rewarded ads are optional and are not required for core gameplay. Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents privacy choices where required. Choosing not to consent to personalized advertising does not necessarily mean all advertising will stop. Ad content and linked offers are supplied by third parties; we do not endorse every advertiser or control their separate transactions. 8. Optional purchases

If a MULTIES app offers optional digital purchases, their price and terms will be shown before you confirm a transaction. Where available, Google Play handles checkout and applicable payment, cancellation, and refund procedures under its terms and mandatory consumer law. MULTIES does not receive full payment-card details. Nothing in these Terms obliges you to buy a product or watch a rewarded ad to use GridLume Sudoku’s core gameplay. A purchased benefit, if offered, is separate from an ad-free period earned through gameplay or Ad Points.

9. UniCalc results

UniCalc provides calculators and converters for general information and convenience. Outputs can be affected by your inputs, assumptions, rounding, units, formulas, device limitations, or errors. Please verify important results independently. These tools do not replace qualified financial, medical, engineering, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice; do not rely on a single calculation for a safety-critical or high-stakes decision. This section does not limit any rights that cannot legally be limited.

10. Local data and privacy

GridLume Sudoku does not require an account. Its puzzles, preferences, points, rewards, progress, and statistics are generally saved on the device rather than in a MULTIES cloud profile. Your operating system or device provider may back up some information under its own settings. Read the GridLume Sudoku Privacy Policy or the UniCalc Privacy Policy for app-specific information about local data, advertising, third-party services, and your choices. Privacy choices are handled as described in the applicable policy, not by a blanket consent granted through these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

Software, app design, original illustrations, text, graphics, and MULTIES branding are owned by or licensed to MULTIES and protected by applicable law. You retain any rights you have in material that you lawfully provide. Third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. This license does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

12. Third-party services

Google Play, AdMob, UMP, operating systems, payment providers, and websites linked from our services operate under their own terms and policies. Their availability and choices can affect features of a MULTIES app. We do not control their independent content, policies, or transactions.

13. Updates and availability

We may improve, update, or change a service, including its features, puzzles, visual themes, and rewards, or discontinue it where lawful. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or third-party service. Where applicable law requires updates, remedies, notice, or other protections, those obligations remain in effect.

14. Statutory rights, warranties, and liability

Nothing here excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, legal guarantees, or remedies. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the services will always be uninterrupted or free from defects. Liability is governed by applicable law. In particular, nothing excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health where such exclusion is prohibited, or for other liability that cannot legally be limited. Any limitation applies only to the extent legally effective in your circumstances.

15. Ending use

You can stop using an app at any time by uninstalling it. This may remove locally stored progress as explained above. We may restrict access or end a service where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, or respond to material misuse, subject to any notice and rights required by applicable law. Obligations that by their nature continue after use ends remain in force.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when services, technology, or legal requirements change. We will update the date shown above and provide additional notice where required. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date; continued use has legal effect only to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not accept a change, you can stop using the relevant service.

17. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections available in your country of habitual residence. Jurisdiction is determined by applicable law; these Terms do not require consumers to give up a legally available court or remedy. You may contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.

18. General and contact

If a provision is unenforceable, the other provisions remain effective to the extent allowed by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. App-specific notices may supplement these Terms, but do not override mandatory law.
